CONTAINER DELIVERY
1. How does the container get delivered?
There are several different ways containers get delivered. You could use tilt-beds trucks, flat-beds and chassis. More times than not, we quote most of our jobs for tilt-bed delivery. Tilt-bed delivery allows us to set the container on the ground for you, without needing additional equipment.
2. What is the difference between a tilt-bed, flat-bed, chassis and trailer?
Tilt-bed trucks set containers on the ground. Flat-bed trucks are used for shipping containers long distance, but don't have the capability to set the container on the ground. Chassis are used when the container is being shipped over seas.
3. Can you deliver two 20' containers on one truck.
Yes. When you deliver two 20' containers, it's the same amount of space as delivering a 40' container. This is cost effective way to deliver 2 containers.
4. Why is container delivery costly?
Delivering containers can be expensive for a couple of reasons. Containers are delivered on large tilt-bed trucks which are very expensive to maintain. Also, rarely can a truck be used to deliver a container and do something else within the same run. So the truck is out on the road for a significant amount of time only dedicated to your job.
